The SFSU Chamber Singers

Through a series of tours and appearances at festivals, the San Francisco State University Chamber Singers have established a record of excellence in choral performance. They have been praised for their "supple choralism" and "wonderfully committed performances" of the a cappella repertoire ranging from Renaissance madrigals to works of contemporary composers. Concert tours have taken them throughout California and, in April 2000, to Beijing and Shanghai, China. Their debut recording, "Sing Me to Heaven" was released in February, 2000. Their latest recording "A Heart's Journey," featuring Cuban music and a cappella works by William Hawley and Eric Whitacre is now available. See purchase information at Buy Our CD.
