Professional Development & Training Program
AEIOU
(Achieving Excellence In Our University) is a Professional
Development & Training Program aimed at:
- Fostering
the skills, attitudes and behaviors that respond to the
needs of the organization;
- Enhancing
the ability of SFSU administrators to accomplish organizational
goals;
- Facilitating
a culture of quality; ensuring excellence and accountability
and reducing liabilities
The
Professional Development program is divided into three categories:
Achieving
Excellence In Our University (AEIOU)
Enable
staff and faculty to enhance their knowledge and skills in
becoming leaders as individual contributors and members of
workgroups facilitating civility, transitions and effective
Human Resource management practices.
Achieving
Excellence In Our Workplace (AEIOW)
Provide staff with the opportunity to acquire and enhance
their skills and knowledge in areas essential to coordinating
a work unit on a day-to-day basis.
Achieving
Excellence In You (AEIYOU)
Provide employees with the tools to help them find a healthy
and manageable balance between work and personal life.
