THE FIELD TRIP

Choose one of the field trip stops and explore the coastal redwood forest of Samuel P. Taylor Park (stop 1); the bishop pine forest (stop 2) and the adjacent coastal scrub community (stop 3) along Mt. Vision Road; the damage caused by the 1995 fire viewed from Inverness Ridge (stop 4); Point Reyes' coastal prairie and rangeland at Chimney Rock (stop 5); coastal beach, dune and strand at North Beach (stop 6); the Douglas fir forest along Limantour Road (stop 7); and, finally, marshland habitat at Limantour Beach (stop 8).
