This new program encourages young minority women to pursue an education and later a career in geosciences. Awards include an Association for Women Geoscientists membership. |
Criteria |
Must be female; Must be African American, Hispanic, or Native American incl. American Indian, Eskimo, Hawaiian, or Samoan; Attending or accepted to an accredited college or university; Must be a contributor to the larger world community through her academic and personal strengths; SAT or ACT scores; Contact org for other Geosciences majors that apply; |
