Welcome to the Disability Programs and Resource Center

The DPRC collaborates with SF State's diverse community to ensure that all aspects of campus life -- learning, working and living -- are universally accessible. The DPRC provides the University with resources, education and direct services in order that people with disabilities may have a greater opportunity to achieve social justice and equity.

Current announcements:

  • $2,500 grant The San Francisco Chapter of the California Council of the Blind will give a grant of up to $2,500 to a Bay Area blind or visually-impaired person who can best demonstrate the need to improve his or her educational or employment opportunities.   • The DPRC's Fall office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; and 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
  • Due to the library construction project, the Maurice Schiffman Room has moved to SSB 109. The Fall semester lab hours are 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday. To reserve a computer in the lab, call 405-4099. For any special concerns or questions about the move, call Nora Scully at 405-4137.
