Salve!
The Department of Classics, part of the College of Humanities, offers a BA in Classical languages, a BA in Classical Archaeology, as well as an MA in Classics; we have minors in Classics, Classical Archaeology, and Ancient Mediterranean Studies. In addition to courses in Classical languages, Greek, Latin, and special studies in Sanskrit, we offer a range of courses in archaeology (Greek, Roman, Near Eastern, and Egyptian) and in literature in translation.

- We are pleased to welcome our newest faculty members, Dr. Gillian McIntosh and Dr. Michael Anderson.
- All are invited to attend the 16th Annual Classics Students Association Spring Lecture Series "Heroes and Anti-Heroes in the Ancient World", taking place the last four Wednesday evenings in April. All lectures take place at 7:00pm in HUM 587 and are followed by a reception.
- Reception for Spring graduates will take place before the ceremony; 3rd Floor Lobby, Humanities Building, 9-12 AM.
