Description: Examines how homosexuality has been portrayed in American and foreign films. Deals with the issues of lesbian and gay gender stereotypes and ethnicity. Shows how censorship, the marketplace, politics, religion, and public pressure have shaped the films. (Formerly CINE 404.)
