Physical principles of remote sensing are developed by examining electromagnetic radiation propagation through the atmosphere; design and limitations of satellites and sensors. Paired with METR 790. Students who have completed METR 490 may not take METR 790 for credit. Classwork, 2 units; laboratory, 1 unit.
