What Bones Can Tell Us: Forensics and
Bioarcheaology
Anthropology faculty members Mark Griffin and Cynthia Wilczak will lead a workshop demonstration on how skeletal remains can be used to reconstruct the health and life of individuals. Techniques covered will include age and sex determination, stature estimates, trauma analysis, and examples of pathological conditions of the skeleton. They will also discuss how these techniques are used in a forensic context and in
analyses of human remains from archaeological sites.
