Robert Westwood Scholarship
The intent of this scholarship is to assist SFSU students who are living with HIV and plan to make a contribution to communities affected by HIV. Contributions can be in any field, including: the arts, health sciences, social services, etc.
Amount will vary from year to year, depending on the amount in the fund..
The application procedure:
Applicant must submit:
- Copy of most recent SFSU academic transcript (unofficial). Applicant must be enrolled at least half-time with an SFSU GPA of at least 3.0.
- Verification from physician that applicant has HIV (a note on official letterhead or from SFSU Disability Resource Center is sufficient).
- Brief, TYPED, essay (no more than 2 pages) discussing applicant’s plans to incorporate her/his academic work and degree at SFSU with service in the HIV community or in the area of HIV prevention.
