How do I verify degrees and dates of enrollment?
Current students and alumni may obtain a verification of degree/enrollment online by logging on to your MySFSU account. From there, you will choose Enrollment Verification from the GO buttons. This will take you to the National Student Clearinghouse where you may get the following information free of charge:
  • Enrollment Certificates for present and past enrollments
  • View all enrollment information filed with the Clearinghouse
  • View the student loan deferment notifications that the Clearinghouse has provided to your loan holders (lenders and guarantors).
  • View the proof(s) of enrollment that the Clearinghouse has provided to your health insurers and other providers of student services or products.
  • View specific information about your student loans.

All requests from employers/third party (i.e. insurance agency) for verification of current enrollment or degrees are processed by the National Student Clearinghouse. Please contact them at (703) 742-4200 or via the web at: http://www.nslc.org/.

Note: Information obtained by employers/third party (i.e. insurance agency) will incur a fee by the National Clearinghouse.

The Registrar's Office will only sign/stamp documents for enrollment verification for the following reason:

  • The student has a pre-printed form from an employer/outside organization
  • Early verification during the first four(4) weeks of the current semester.
